The following testimony is from an ex-felon who attended our "Prisoner Reentry Orientation" and is dated 2/1/2012.

I’d like to thank Brother Steve Gordon and all those who have worked so diligently to create the Prisoner Reentry Orientation class. What a blessing it is for “returning citizens” to have available so many tools that will help them reintegrate back into society. I was released from prison 27 years ago and have never seen a resource like this. I’m sure that if I had access to this type of information then, my life would be much different now. Thank you for giving us hope.

Thank you!!!! ... and your e-mail has definitely BLESSED my day...I have spoken with Terri Miller and Lord willing, will be meeting with her next week (I am completing and returning the paperwork to her tomorrow). Thank you for ALL the resources, as well as the reassurance I received Monday from ALL OF YOU - that I can get through this...Also, thank you for the Roadmap to Employment! ... It's EXACTLY what I need, and will check into a couple of those resources tomorrow. I'm registered with Work Force in Norman - & I have my work credit & bond information!!

Once again THANK YOU, Mr. Gordon!!! Please keep in contact, and please keep my family and I in your prayers. Thank you for the blessings you have shared!!!

Hello Steve,

I just wanted to express my gratitude for your hospitality. I learned so much and met such great folks. I wanted you to know I sent Donna Bond (she is in charge of the re-entry Orentation at McAlester. I think she will be pleased with your efforts and anxious to find out more. I also talked with the Mustang police Dept. They want me to bring by some flyers to the station. I will probably not get that done until the weekend...Hope you have a good week/weekend. I have all of you in my prayers. Keep up the good work!
